Her incredible hard work made the laboratory a vital asset while she was great fun to be with in a social setting. She embraced the opportunity to work with the many and varied international visitors to and staff of the unit. Rheumatology moved to GRI in 1984 but we remained in touch and even after retirement Anne attended CRD’s 50th anniversary celebrations in 2015, here with with Professor Brooks from Australia.. We were so sorry to learn from her Xmas card that she was ill and now to hear of her death. Our condolences to all her loved ones - you are in our thoughts.
