DUNCAN - Winifred Howie Peacefully, on 5th March, 2021, at The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow, Winifred Howie Duncan (Winnie), much loved sister of Sheila and Maureen, dear aunt of Rob, Lisa and Sherry, great-aunt of Ashley and friend to many. Former teacher at Laurel Bank School and Mearns Castle High School. She will be greatly missed. Grateful thanks to the staff of Abbeyfield Extra-Care Home, Rutherglen, for their excellent care during her final year. The funeral shall be held at Woodside Crematorium on Monday 22nd March at 3pm however this shall be private due to current restrictions.
