WHITELAW - Thomas Andrew Peacefully at University Hospital Ayr on 21st January 2021, Dr Thomas Andrew Whitelaw BSc PhD, (Tommy), Honorary Senior Lecturer in Mathematics, University of Glasgow. Beloved son of the late Mabel and Andrew Whitelaw, Troon, much loved cousin, uncle, nephew and friend; an exceptional and inspiring teacher and adviser. Funeral service on Friday 12th February 2021 at 2.30pm at Holmsford Bridge Crematorium, Dreghorn, Ayrshire. David and I were deeply saddened to learn of Tommy's death. We knew him as a friend of many years both in Troon as a loyal and dedicated churchman and in Glasgow University where he was loved and respected. In recent years we met in Rannoch and in Pitlochry and enjoyed his company and generous hospitality, though we were grieved by his obvious frailty and disability. We will miss him greatly.
