GILLAN - John Peacefully, at Erskine Home, Bishopton, on Monday, 18th January 2021, John, aged 81, much loved husband of the late Elizabeth, loving father of Joan and Colin, dear father-in-law of Karen and Paul, proud grandpa of Euan, Elizabeth, Teigan and Paul, known to them and many others as "Papa J". He will also be fondly remembered and much missed by his sister Maureen, his brother-in-law Dennis, the wider family and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Due to current covid-19 restrictions, a private funeral will be held at Craigton Crematorium, on Wednesday, 3rd February at 12.30pm. The family wish to thank the staff at Red Cross House, Erskine Home for their love, compassion and care in his later years. We would gratefully request that donations in lieu of flowers are made to Erskine.
