HIDE - Thomas Armstrong Henry (Rab) Peacefully on 26th December 2020, aged 85 years. Devoted husband of Louise, beloved father of Susie and Alison and much loved grandfather of Eilidh. A private family funeral service will be held with a memorial service planned for a later date.

Words can't express how grateful we are for your incredible skill and dedication as a Neurosurgeon. In 1992 you operated on our baby and during his childhood you continued to look after him, and to support us with your kind, reassuring words. Scotland has lost a true hero, thank you and may you rest in eternal peace.

Sincere condolence and sympathy to all the family.
Fond memories of Mr. Hide from many years working with him in the Neurosurgical Unit . He was a pioneer of paediatric neurosurgery.
An empathetic man as well as an excellent surgeon.
