HUTCHISON - Aileen Buchanan (nee Wallace) Passed away peacefully, following a short illness borne with the greatest dignity, on Monday 21st December, 2020 at The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Ian, much loved Mum of Karen, Ann, Graeme and Gordon, treasured mother-in-law of Linda and Joanna, devoted Gran to Fiona, Gillian, Jonathan, David, Anya and Tom, special great-grandmother to Rory and loving sister to Roy, Margaret and Stanley. Due to current restrictions, there will be a private family funeral. No flowers please.

We remember Aileen, a caring lady of quiet dignity who cared for others. Both Aileen and Ian were supporters of our Malawi project - this was done without fuss and with the stipulation that their help was anonymous, which was so typical of them.
We miss their presence at Mearns Kirk Church.
