KNIGHT - Alanna MBE (Edinburgh) Peacefully at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh on Wednesday, 2nd December 2020, Alanna, aged 97, beloved wife to the late Alistair, mother of Chris and Kevin, grandmother to Chloe and Julia. Author of over 60 books, mentor to emerging writers, a dear and inspirational friend to many, an irreplaceable member of the Scottish literary community. Due to the current government restrictions there will be a private service. This will be held at St Peter's Church, Newington. A memorial service celebrating Alanna's life will be held in the New Year. Family flowers only, please. Donations to RSPB or PDSA.
