Saddened to learn that Ken has passed away. My wife and I got to know Ken and Alice whilst on a tour holiday in 1999. For many years after, we kept in touch with Christmas cards and then we bumped into Ken at The Golf Hotel in Crail where he did in fact remember us. During the 1999 holiday we enjoyed their company; remembering Ken’s wit, his little note book and drawings. A couple of years ago, whilst at Callander Kirk playing the organ, I was sorry to hear that Ken was having health problems. RIP Ken, God bless. Colin Robertson, Organist, Kildrum Parish Church, Cumbernauld. ( I did write a previous message, but it seems to have disappeared )

Saddened to hear that Ken has passed away. My wife and I spent many an hour of enjoyment and fun in Ken and Alice’s company during a holiday in 1999. Still recall Ken’s quick wit, his stories and his little notebook and drawings. Several years later we bumped into him at the Golf Hotel in Crail and he instantly remembered us. A couple of years ago I played the organ in Callander Kirk and spoke of him to a lady parishioner and was sorry that his health was failing. RIP Ken, God bless. Colin Robertson, Organist, Kildrum Parish Church, Cumbernauld.
