To the family of Dr. Mary Christina Kelly:
Our names are Christopher and Susan Howells. We were so saddened to recently find out that your beloved mother, Christina (as we knew her) passed away last October, 2020. We just recently found out in my searching for any information on her.

We met your sweet Mother upon her arrival at her apartment off of the beach in Spain one summer day back in 2012. We had opened a Kayak Rental Shop on the ground floor of the apartment she owned. We moved to Spain from the USA November of 2011. In any event, one either day in either April or May when we had met her. We opened a Kayak Rental Shop on the ground floor of her apt building. I believe upon her arrival to her apartment, she saw that our shop was newly opened and said hello and we introduced ourselves to each other. During her stay we would often say hello and engage in lovely conversations. We got to know her and love her! She had a wonderful sense of humour and my husband Chris would be happy to help her out with any minor chores in her apartment when and if she needed assistance. she was so self sufficient and confident in getting around and meeting with old friends. I admired her strong determined spirit and outgoing personality. She always had a smile and kind word. We had shared a few lunches and dinners together and were able to have her at our home for dinner as well and had the best time.

My husband and I both tried reaching her several times, but no success. We moved out of Spain about 4 1/2 years ago and moved to the UK. Sadly we lost touch.

We apologise for the long delay in sending but nonetheless we send our heartfelt condolences to her family. We really think of her so fondly and am certain you, as her family must dearly miss her presence but think her memory surely lives on.

Sincerely

Christopher and Susan Howells

It is with great sorrow that we heard today of the death of Tina. Although we had not been in touch for some time, our friendship with Frank and Tina stretches back some 36 years and we had many happy memories of that friendship. Both Isobel and I pray for the repose of the soul of your Mum. God bless her and may she rest in peace.
