McQUEEN - Jim (75) at home on Monday, 26th October 2020 after a brave battle against cancer. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (nee Lamont); loving dad of Lauraine and Jamie and much loved papa to Euan, Callum and Eilidh. Well loved brother to George and Billy and cherished brother-in-law and uncle to nephews and nieces across the globe. A keen rugby fan, Jim played for many years with The Old Spierians and Garnock Rugby Club. He was also a very active member of Garnock Burns Club. Jim will be sorely missed by all who knew him. A special thank you to the local GPs, district nurses, carers and Ayrshire Hospice staff who helped to care for Jim in his final days. Funeral at 2pm on Friday, 6th November; sadly due to Covid restrictions, attendance by invite only. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to The Ayrshire Hospice.
