WOOD - Jack Williamson Suddenly but peacefully, at home, on Tuesday 20th October 2020. Beloved husband of the late Wilma, from whom he was so recently bereaved. Loving father to Susan and Linda, father-in-law to Keith and Derek and grandfather to Jenny and Andrew. A friend to many, and with many friends, he always had a tale to tell. Due to current restrictions the funeral will be private. When circumstances allow a joint celebration of Wilma and Jacks life together will be held.

So sad to read of Jacks passing. He was a really lovely man as was his lovely wife Wilma. They will both be sorely miss in the cafe in the Avenue.

Sad to hear of Jack's death. Went to school with him, then worked along the corridor from him in the Corporation, Jack in the Assessors and myself in Social Work. then across the road from each other with Strathclyde. He gave me a lift each morning and evening when he got his first car and never changed in his generosity to and acceptance of his fellow humans. A remarkable man.

So sorry to hear of Jacks passing .I knew Jack and Wilma and Wilmas sisters from our teenage years and worked with Jack thereafter .A great guy with lots of drive and a great friend. Stanley Breingan

Sad to read of Jacks passing so soon after losing Wilma. We remember them as friends of Mearns Kirk’s club on Thursday. Wonderful personalities who were loved by us all. We send our condolences at this sad time.
