SLAVEN - John Peacefully, on Thursday 24th September 2020, at Dumfries Infirmary, John Kerr Slaven, aged 82 years, of Hermitage Drive, formerly Foregirth Farm, beloved husband of Betty, much loved dad to Christine and John, and dearly loved papa to Anna. A dearly loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend. The funeral cortege will pass through the Showfield, Park Farm, Dumfries on Wednesday 7th October at 12 noon. It will then follow the Glasgow Road/A76 to Auldgirth, and pass through Dalswinton Village. Due to current circumstances, funeral service private. If so desired, a donation can be made to a charity of your choice in memory of John.
