DALZIEL - James Suddenly though peacefully at home with his soulmate Lis by his side. Devoted father to John and Jane, loving father-in-law to Sarah and Ian, and besotted grandpa/baba to Sarah, Lucy and Juliette. Survived by his adoring elder sister Elizabeth. His brave battle with cancer was fought with dignity and typical dry humour. It was the final chapter in a remarkable life during which he had a positive impact on so many people's lives as a Head Teacher in Glasgow. He leaves special memories for everyone who came into contact with him. Jim will leave home at 1.30pm on Wednesday 24th June 2020 for a family only service at Linn Crematorium at 2pm. The route will be posted on Jane's social media pages. No flowers please, donations to Prostate Cancer UK and/or Macmillan Cancer Care.
