McMANUS - Susan Montgomerie (Sue) With deep sadness the family announce the sudden death of our beloved Sue at The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, on Monday 8th June 2020. Loving and much loved wife of Jim, proud and devoted mum to Colin and Craig and also Jill, besotted grandma to wee Eilidh. Sue is leaving her home just after 3pm on Friday 19th June for a private funeral at Clydebank Crematorium at 3.30pm. No flowers please. Hopefully a celebration of Sue's life will need to wait for better times.

So sad to hear of Sue’s passing. A very close friend during our school years and early adult life, we reconnected recently through a Spanish class at Strathclyde University. It was great to catch up and fill in the missing years. I have so many memories which I will treasure. Thinking of you all at this sad time.

Hi Jim, I was so shocked and sad to hear about Sue. It must be so tough for you all, especially with what is happening all around us just now. I will be thinking of all of you on Friday. Whilst I am not a deeply religious person I do have my beliefs and will say a prayer for her. My memories of Sue go back to the 1960's at School. She was always cheery and friendly, and, whilst we were not close friends, I always deemed her as a friend. She will be sadly missed, not only by your close family, but by everyone who knew her. Please pass on my very sincere condolences to all your family. When the time is right I will attend the celebration of her life. RoY Hughes
