ROBERTSON Guy Tragically following an accident, Guy, aged 59, died peacefully at The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, on 1st June 2020. Loving father to Jemma, brother to Lynne and Grant, much loved son of Colin, stepson to Helen, partner to Angela and adored uncle to Fraser, Claire, Zoe and Lucy. Guy leaves behind his eclectic circle of friends gathered from his beloved west end haunts and across the continents. A celebration of his life will need to wait for better times. The funeral service will be held at 11.30am at Clydebank Crematorium on Friday 12th June, but will require to be private. There is however an opportunity for many to say their goodbyes outside Kelvinside Academy at 10.45am on the day as the cortege travels to the Crematorium. The family hope that some friends could safely gather there to give him a rousing send off and to pay their respects. The family wish to extend their thanks to all the emergency services who helped, staff at the Queen Elizabeth ICU and in particular the two brave passersby who went to his assistance. Guy will be sorely missed and remembered fondly by all of us who knew him. Family flowers only please and we ask that you respect social distancing.
