COUTTS John At home with his daughter in Southampton on Tuesday 19th May 2020 in his 95th year. Briefly professional footballer, retired from Rowebb Ltd after a long and successful career, Church of Scotland elder nearly 70 years, Boys' Brigade leader and supporter, tireless in his work for Mure Memorial Church and for the Garrowhill and neighbouring communities, golfer and bowls player. Father to Linda, Grandfather to Nicola, Luisa, Pamela, Iona, Great-Grandpa to Leo, Abigail, Isla, Lewis, Hugh, Aiden, Kit and Lucia. Reunited with Mima, his beloved wife of 64 years, and with Brian, his dear son taken too soon. A friend to all, and very much loved. After a private family funeral in Southampton on 11th June, his ashes will be returned to Scotland when circumstances allow.
