McCARTHY Jean Helen (nee Drummond) At home following a brief illness on Monday 25th May 2020. Beloved wife of Peter, devoted mother to Will, Charlie and Jamie and adoring grandmother to Ollie. A deeply loved sister and 'Auntie Jean'. A cherished friend who touched so many lives with her love, warmth and characteristic kindness. An inspirational teacher who always made children feel special and valued. She will be missed enormously by all who knew her. A private family committal will be held at Greenock Cemetery on Tuesday 9th June at 11.30am and a Service of Thanksgiving for her life at a later date.
