SUTTON - David Edmond 67 years old, died suddenly on 26th May 2020, at Hairmyres Hospital, following a short illness. Much loved husband of Nancy, father to Jessica, brother to Valerie and Graham, Kenneth and Jenny, uncle to Gavin, Michael, Matt, Aaron, Tom, and Naomi. Private funeral still to be arranged. Please leave condolences on Herald website.

Dear Nancy,
I only recently heard about Dave's passing. My sincere condolences to you, Jessica and Dave's wider family and friends in Glasgow, Bristol, Northern Ireland and elsewhere.
I worked with Dave in the Built Heritage and Design Team at North Lanarkshire for a while. He was very generous in sharing his knowledge regarding architecture, building conservation and planning. He also shared tales of his times in Sheffield and Bristol. We also met a few times at folk gigs mainly during Celtic Connections (although I have never seen Christy Moore!).
I am very sorry to hear the news.
