PATERSON - Sarah (nee Miller) formerly Hetherington Peacefully on 22nd May 2020. Three days after her 96th Birthday, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law in Carluke. Dearly loved mother, mother-in-law, stepmother, granny and great-granny, who will be very much missed by all the family.

Rang Sarah’s door bell today as I was down in Troon for the first time in ages and didn’t get an answer so checked this page. So sorry to read that she has passed away. Sarah was my Mum, Catherine Fraser’s, best friend and an absolute treasure. Always looked a million dollars and interested to hear about what the family had been up to. Sarah came to Mum’s 86th birthday celebration that I managed to sort while she was in the Biggart. As she walked in the two of them made eye contact and Mum was delighted. Mum got her to sit next to her and held her hand. It was a lovely moment.
