HALCROW - Gordon Of Hunstanton Norfolk, died on 6th May 2020, aged 94 years at Swaffham Community Hospital, Norfolk. Gordon was born in Renfrew and was a loving husband to Sheena and much loved father to Rhona. His funeral, for close family only, will be at Mintlyn Crematorium, Kings Lynn on Tuesday 2nd June at 3.15pm. Family flowers only please. Donations in Gordon's memory may be made to Scope and sent to - John Lincoln Funeral Directors, 40 Greevegate, Hunstanton PE36 6AG. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held later when circumstances permit.

At 64 years old I have enormously fond memories of Gordon, as my thermodynamics lecturer at Brunel University (1975 to 1979).

I was incredibly sad to be made aware of this by a friend today.

I owe him a tremendous thank you. His patience with a slow learner like myself, coupled with his great enthusiasm are things I will always remember.

My thoughts are with his friends and family. I know he was a very well respected person. You should be very proud of him in your difficult times.
