BARR - Kenneth Douglas MacRobert Passed away on Thursday 30th April 2020 at Inverclyde Royal Hospital. Ken was predeceased by his sister Gillean and is survived by his two brothers Ronnie and Colin. Ken received care, kindness and attention from all the staff at both Cowal Community Hospital and Inverclyde Royal Hospital. Due to current restrictions a small funeral will be held on Wednesday 20th May.

Many happy memories of sailing with you in Kyleakin on the Clyde and West of the Crinan Canal. You were always cheerful despite the weather and the adverse winds. Your contributions to Britoil and the Clyde movie were outstanding. With you we visited many anchorages in the Clyde including your favourite at Tighnabruich. May the gannets continue to plunge into those beautiful waters in your memory. You were always supportive and welcoming. May you always have a soldiers wind (abaft of the beam) and beautiful waters for your sailing in the future
