PEARSON - Elizabeth (Betty) Passed away peacefully on 8th May, 2020 at Eastwood Court Care Home at age 94. Having lived a full life as a mother, teacher, and grandmother, she will be greatly missed by her two sons, Grant and Glenn, and their families. She emigrated to Canada in 1952 but returned to Scotland after the death of her husband Bernard (Bun) in 1961, went back to school to complete her education, became a teacher and worked her way up to headmistress. She was immensely proud of her six grandchildren and loved visiting them in Canada and England. Betty travelled the world since her retirement but always loved time spent with family, friends, and neighbours. Due to current circumstances, a funeral service for close family will take place now, and we will celebrate her life when time permits. Her final resting place will be beside her husband in Toronto.
