BAIRD - Isobel Peacefully, aged 97, at Nazareth House Care Home, Glasgow, on 5th May 2020, Isobel Baird (née O'Donnell), retired Head Teacher. Beloved wife of the late John A. Baird, loving mother of Isobel and John, mother-in-law of David and Philippa, and adoring and much loved grandmother of Louis, Andrew, Frances and Alison. Due to the current restrictions, a private burial service will take place at St Conval's Cemetery, Barrhead, on Friday 15th May.

Very sorry to hear the news. I've often wondered how you were all doing over the years...came across this death notice when researching family. May/Mary and Winnie O'Donnell used to come to our house every Saturday evening when I was little and tell us about Isobel, John Baird, Isobel Mary and John. My mother Ellen and auntie May were (I think) first cousins to Isobel's mother, Mary O'Donnell (nee Brown). My grandfather, George, was Mary's mother Agnes's youngest sibling. May O'Donnell came to my 21st birthday party. That was the last contact I had with your family. Best Wishes, Ellen Patrick
