McFARLANE - Harry It is with great sadness that the family of Harry McFarlane announce his passing at South Lodge Residential Care Home in Ayr on Friday 17th April 2020, aged 91. Dearly beloved husband of Margaret for 66 years. Loving father to Clare, Gerard, Anne and Pauline. Treasured Papa and Great-Grandfather. Much loved brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Devoted music teacher and choirmaster. Lifelong musician and composer. A closed service will take place on Friday 1st May. In time, the family will hold a celebration of Harry's life. No flowers please, however Harry's memoir 'Music: Enhancer of Life' is available on Lulu.com with all proceeds going to South Lodge Residential Care Home Comfort Fund.
