Will be greatly missed by his ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Dear Peter,

We were very both very saddened to hear of your Fathers Death recently. We remember him very clearly and our thoughts are with you and your family at this awful time.

It would be good to catch up with you at some point, but we have no up to date contact details for you.

Hopefully you might see this message and want to get in touch.

With the kindest regards,

Brian and Isobel Smith

I write this on behalf of my mum, Win Keighley, who with my late Dad were friends and neighbours of the Whittick family in Westbourne Crescent, Bearsden in the early sixties.
My mother, who is suffering from vascular dementia, came across Mr Whittick’s obituary and immediately commented on our family connection. She wanted to express her sincere condolences to the Whittick family, as I do.

Had the great pleasure of flying with David at Renfrew and later at Heathrow.
A real gentleman - and I agree about the sense of humour. How sad he cannot be given a proper BEA send-off at the moment.
