FERGUSON Ian Peacefully at Crosshouse Hospital on Tuesday, 3rd March 2020. Ian, aged 83 years, father of James, Sarah and Fiona, grandad of Seth, Flora, Rosie, Kate and Louis. Much loved and much missed. Funeral service at Clyde Coast and Garnock Valley Crematorium on Monday, 16th March at 1pm, to which all are welcome.

So comforted that his daughter was with him. I only met him by Skpe as he was a friend of my friend, Maureen. He was such a supportive friend to her and to me to help us connect and I appreciate all the emails and Skype talks. He was so respected at the senior's home when I went to visit Maureen in 2018 and everyone talked about his accomplishments including his books, his articles and particularly his letters of opinion and support for the Isle of Arran and the Trust Society. His family must be very proud of him and I send my sincere condolences to all of you. As you say, he will be missed.
