COUGHTRIE — WILLIAM. The family of the late William (Billy) Newall Coughtrie, would like to thank relatives and friends, neighbours and former colleagues for their kind expressions of sympathy, cards, letters and flowers received during their recent sad bereavement. Special thanks to medical and nursing staff of the Neurological Unit, Southern General Hospital, Glasgow, Crosshouse High Dependency Unit and Station 1 at Ayr Hospital, the local Police for their support and assistance, the Rev. David Gemmell for conducting the service at the Auld Kirk of Ayr and at Masonhill Crematorium, the professional and sensitive support from M. L. Williams Funeral Directors and the Kylestrome Hotel, Miller Road, Ayr for their excellent catering arrangements. Billy was a much loved husband and father, devoted grandfather, brother, brother-in-law and uncle.
