Katia Kvinge discusses Twitter, nature documentaries and sellotaping audience members together.

Tell us about your Fringe show

The show is my attempt at performing 140 Characters within an hour.

Best thing about the Fringe?

So many creative people all living in one city for a month.

Worst thing about the Fringe?

So many creative people all living in one city for a month.

How many years have you been coming to the Fringe?

This will be my 6th year visiting and performing - previously I've been in sketch comedy shows.

Favourite Fringe venue?

Just The Tonic at the Caves - Just Up The Road at 7.45pm - a great time and place to be during the Fringe.

Best Fringe memory?

Sneaking into parties pretending to be people I'm not.

Best heckle?

'YES! I CAN RELATE TO THAT'

Craziest on stage experience?

Sellotaping audience members together whilst playing match maker and putting sellotape on everyone's faces to distort their appearance so people couldn't recognise their significant other.

What’s on your rider?

Fruit, water & Deepak Chopra.

How do you wind down after a show?

I love to watch nature documentaries especially Blue Planet. Fish and whales make me pretty chill.

What do you love about Scotland?

I love the brutal honesty of the Scots and the fact that you can never be sure if you're about to get mugged or make a life long friend.

What do you like about Edinburgh?

I like that you can go for a walk up Arthur's Seat and look down on the whole of Edinburgh and imagine you are an ant farmer looking at all your little ants in ant cars and ant homes

What’s the most Scottish thing you’ve done?

Moved to Scotland aged 10 and got bullied out of an English accent.

What kind of jokes do a Scottish crowd seem to respond to?

Most things dry, dark and self deprecating.

Favourite joke?

'Your mum’.

Katia Kvinge will perform at Just the Tonic at the Caves on August 13-31.
