2 Sean Biggerstaff The Harry Potter actor is following up that with the remake of the Scots classic Whisky Galore. He is also to be seen in Lee Hall’s Hippie Hippie Shake. A tilt at Hollywood must be the logical next step.
3 Richard Madden The actor, from Renfrewshire, is set to star in American fantasy Cinderella, directed by Kenneth Branagh, and co-starring Lily James and Cate Blanchett.
4 Amy Manson The Being Human actor, from Aberdeenshire, has starred in TV hit Atlantis and is set to play Princess Merida in the US fairy tale drama series Once Upon A Time. You may also have seen in Brit movie Not Just Another Happy Ending.
5 Sam Heughan, Heughan, from Dumfriesshire, has captured international attention as Jamie in Outlander and he’s been back in Scotland recently filming series two. The show provides the perfect Hollywood calling card.
6 Holly Jack The former River City star now has a Hollywood agent. “I’m sorting out visas to go back for pilot season when they start casting for new series. “Laura Fraser’s my idol so I think if she can make it then maybe I can too.”
