This week signals the proper start of summer... it's Wimbledon!

Whether you've got tickets for Centre Court, will be  joining the crowds on Murray Mound or just watching on the telly, fashion fans will be hoping for sunshine, great tennis and some style inspiration.

We’ll miss one half of our favourite Wimbledon spectators - the Middleton sisters - due to the impending royal birth but Kate will be back in the Royal Box next year taking up her honorary membership at the All England Club. Rumour has it that she is likely to succeed the Duke of Kent as the club's president when he stands down.

In the meantime I've got my eye on three fashionable tennis couples and in particular the wives and girlfriends supporting their partners from the player's box. Cue the WAGs to watch at Wimbledon this year...

Kim Sears
Kim brings a touch of glamour to the game with her bouncy blonde blow dry, pretty blue eyes and slim figure. The Sussex-born artist met Andy Murray at a party in 2006 and they now share a £5m, six-bedroom home in Surrey. Kim is a fan of high street labels like Hobbs and has been photographed sporting the latest Mulberry 'it' bag, so I'm expecting her style credentials to hit a new high this year. World number two Andy will be determined to win his first Wimbledon title after his emotional loss to Federer in 2012. Expect to see Kim and Andy's mum Judy Murray cheering him from the player's box.

Mirka Federer
Mirka brings relaxed glamour to the audience and is happy to cheer on her husband Roger - arguably the greatest player ever - from the sidelines. The couple met in 2000 at the Sydney Olympics, and now have twin daughters. Mirka continues to work as his PR manager. As a former player herself she understands the sacrifices Roger has had to make to reach the top and supports him relentlessly.

Roger always looks flawless in his own range of Nike tennis whites and we’re likely to see his RF logo featuring prominently on his jacket and tennis accessories. Although the official 2013 Wimbledon Nike Tennis Collection will be worn by Roger Federer, Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova and Rafael Nadal, it seems with a reported $13m endorsement deal brand Federer continues to be on top.

Maria Perello
Rafael Nadal and his childhood sweetheart, Maria, both grew up in the village of Manacor, on the holiday island of Mallorca. Maria doesn't conform to the WAG stereotype, preferring a quiet life. She has a degree in business administration and a full-time job with an insurance company in Palma. She stays out of the limelight as much as possible so it’s difficult to predict which labels she’ll be wearing to Wimbledon but I expect to see her in an elegant selection of summer dresses and tailored trousers. The pair will introduce subtle colour into their Wimbledon wardrobes with Rafa choosing to wear a white Nike t-shirt with a red neon collar.
