Infinity Works is creating scores of new jobs in the tech sector to meet growing demand for its tech-driven digital transformation services.

The company is helping clients in the public and private sector to harness the power of data in their organisations and adapt to new operating conditions with the ongoing coronavirus.

Infinity Works, founded in 2014, is rated as one the UK’s leading management consultancies and last month was named among the fastest growing technology companies in GP Bullhound’s Northern Tech Awards.

In the year to August 2019, Infinity Works saw revenues rise by 67 per cent to £34m and has seen continued growth through the pandemic as businesses and state bodies accelerate digital transformation plans.

James O’Donovan, operations director, said: “We are investing in new tech sector jobs to help meet customer demand for our digital transformation services and we are proud to be supporting the economic recovery in the wake of Coronavirus.

“Our customers want to build resilience into their business propositions, mitigate risk and provide a higher degree of personalisation to their clients.”

The company’s teams have been working with some of the UK’s biggest public and private sector organisations in the national response to the health crisis.

Customers include health and care providers, supermarket groups, government departments, financial services firms and online gaming companies.

Infinity Works has offices and remote staff in Leeds, London and Manchester as well as Edinburgh.

Jen Riley, Head of Talent Acquisition, said: “We are looking for brilliant engineers with a ‘learn-it-all’ mindset and a curious approach to understanding customer problems.

“Infinity Works is known for having broadly skilled people who serve our customers in an honest and industrious way.

“We are hiring across a wide range of disciplines and at different stages of careers and bring people through our in-house academy, which is proving successful for our customers and our business too.”

The Infinity Works Academy provides a fully-paid 13-week course for entry-level recruits to gain all the experience they need to become fully-fledged consultants.

The company is adding to its senior leadership team and has recently appointed James Morgan  as commercial director, and James O’Donovan as operations director to the executive board and Jen Riley as head of talent acquisition.

Growth Capital Partners made a minority investment in Infinity Works in 2019 to support significant additional scale and help increase its share of the digital transformation services sector.

It won its first banking client in Edinburgh in 2017 and has become a key partner for what it described as a household name.
