BANCHORY-based Deeside Brewery has secured a contract to supply beer to up to 40 Co-op stores in Scotland.

The craft brewer will initially supply 3,500 bottles of its Deeside Craft Lager, and LAF and Macbeth brews to Co-op, the latest in a series of deals with supermarket groups.

Stephen Crossland, managing director of Deeside Brewery, said: “Securing this deal with the Co-op is fantastic for the brewery.

“We’re keen to increase our presence within the growing craft beer drinker community, and we are really pleased that Deeside brews are now an option for those shopping in Scottish Co-op stores.”
