SENTINEL Marine, the Aberdeen-based provider of offshore support vessels, has secured new and extended contracts worth £17 million so far this year.
Th deals include a new contract with Nexen Petroleum UK to provide rescue and recovery services for the operator’s Golden Eagle and Buzzard fields in the North Sea over a four year period.
Rory Deans, chief executive of Sentinel Marine, said: “These are significant contracts for Sentinel Marine. There are clear advantages for operators contracting with a young fleet.”
He added: “Sentinel Marine has the youngest fleet in the sector and it’s a growing fleet.”
