National Express profits up
Transport operator National Express has said its like-for-like group operating profit lifted by seven per cent in the three months to the end of September compared to a year ago.
It said that was helped by strong 3.5 per cent sales growth at its coach service.
The Birmingham-based firm added that it is preparing its bid for the East Anglia rail franchise, which will be submitted in December.
