Skechers set for Edinburgh
US fashion brand Skechers has revealed plans to open its first store in Edinburgh.
The retailer has taken a 10-year lease on a two-floor unit on 79 Princes Street. The site, which adds to Skechers' store in Glasgow's Buchanan Street, spans around 5,000 square feet.
Callum Mortimer of property firm CBRE, which secured the deal for Skechers, said: “This is a fantastic new occupier for Princes Street’s tenant mix. There was competition for the shop between a number of occupiers, which illustrates the strong demand for city centre space at present."
