TENNENT Caledonian has teamed up with the Celtic FC Foundation charitable foundation to launch a scheme to help the long-term unemployed back into work.

The Magners Employability Project, aimed at unemployed peopled aged 25 and over, is a 10-week course with a focus on developing skills in the hospitality industry.

Delivered by the foundation and the Tennent’s Training Academy, the project will provide participants with workplace and job-seeking skills alongside sessions on health, fitness and nutrition.

The project was funded by Magners’ Goals for Charity initiative, which saw Celtic’s shirt sponsor raise £18,300 after donate £150 for every competitive goal scored during the 2013/14 season.
