Keith Neilson, founder and chief executive of Craneware, saw his total remuneration rise from £209,728 to £267,987 in the year to June 2015, according to the company’s annual report. That included a bonus of £53,768,

Finance director Craig Preston enjoyed a rise to £247,601 from the previous year’s £192,866, including bonus of £50,845.

Remuneration committee chairman Ron Verni said financial targets were “partially met” in the year.

The total bill for directors was $1.1m, a rise from $891,160, and paid only partially in sterling.

Mr Neilson holds options over 132,963 shares dating back six years, none of which have been exercised, at prices ranging from 335p to 514p. Mr Preston’s options dating back to 2008 are also intact, covering 194,229 shares at prices from 208p to 514p.

Craneware shares were trading yesterday at a record high of 719p, up 2.5p, valuing the company at around £192m.
