Transport group Go-Ahead said its rail revenues in the 16 weeks to October 19 lifted around 2.5% year-on-year, while its regional bus sales climbed by about 1%. The firm - which operates the Southeastern, London Midland and GTR rail franchises through its Govia joint venture - said it was on course to meet full year expectations for both its bus and rail divisions. It added it expected to hear whether its bids for the Northern and TransPennine Express franchises have been successful over the coming three months.
