THE highest-paid director at Stefan King's G1 Group took home remuneration of £148,400 in the company's latest financial year, up from £127,892 the year before.

The figures are revealed in accounts for the Glasgow-based pub and club empire newly filed at Companies House.

According to the accounts, G1 booked directors' emoluments of £462,713 in the year ended March 31, compared with £459,079 in 2013.
