CORDING Real Estate Group, the real estate investment and asset management firm, has acquired Edinburgh's Westport 102 office building for £32.2 million.

Cording has purchased the property, located in the Exchange District near Edinburgh Castle, for Britannia Invest.

Britannia is an investment company for Danish pension funds, which Cording provides with investment management services.

Westport 102 spans 95,174 square feet and occupies a prominent position on the corner of Lady Lawson Street and Lauriston Street. It is 76 per cent leased, with tenants including The Scottish Ministers, Audit Scotland, Broadcom and J Sainsbury, which has a Local store on site.
