Accounts for the period from 1 April 2015 to 31 March 2016
Notice is hereby given under Regulation 9 (1) of the Local Authority Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 1985 that copies of the unaudited accounts of Clyde Valley Learning and Development Joint Committee for the period from 1 April 2015 to 31 March 2016 will be available for inspection on the following dates:
The accounts and related documents are available for public inspection from Friday 1 July to Thursday 21 July 2016 (inclusive) in the offices of the Council's Finance and Corporate Resources, Floor 4, Council Offices, Almada Street, Hamilton ML3 0AB between the hours of 8.45am - 4.45pm Monday to Thursday and 8.45am - 4.15pm Friday.
Any person interested may inspect a copy of the abstract(s) of the
accounts to be audited, all books, deeds, contracts, bills, vouchers and receipts related thereto, and may take copies of any or all parts of the accounts. Any person interested may object to the account or to any
part of those accounts, no later than Friday 22 July 2016 by sending their objection in writing, together with a statement of the grounds
thereof, to the auditor, Martin Pitt, Engagement Partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Floor 5, 141 Bothwell Street, Glasgow G2 7EQ and sending a copy of their objection and the grounds thereof
to the Controller of Audit, Audit Scotland, 110 George Street,
Edinburgh, EH2 4LH and to the Council and any officer of the Council who may be concerned, at Council Offices, Almada Street, Hamilton
ML3 0AB.
The auditor shall, if requested by the person objecting, the authority, or by any officer of the authority who may be concerned, afford to that person or authority or officer, as the case may be, an opportunity of
appearing before and being heard by the auditor with respect to that
objection; and any such person or officer may so appear and be heard
either personally or by a representative.
