Flood Risk Management Strategies: Submission for approval
As part of the process for delivering Scotland's first Flood Risk Management Strategies, Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) has submitted 14 Flood Risk Management Strategies to Scottish Ministers for review and approval. These have been developed in collaboration with Scottish Water, local authorities and in partnership with the National Park Authorities and Forestry Commission Scotland. The next stage of delivery is for SEPA to publish the strategies by Tuesday 22 December 2015.
The review of the strategies by Scottish Ministers is in accordance with section 31 of the Flood Risk Management (Scotland) Act 2009.
During the period of review by Scottish Ministers in November, the Flood Risk Management Strategies are available for public inspection by contacting SEPA on 03000 99 66 99 or emailing floodactconsultation@sepa.org.uk.
