ON THE SIDELINES: Kris Commons is not ready to return to the Celtic side for their Champions League qualifying match with Stjarnan
KRIS COMMONS has been ruled out of Celtic's Champions League qualifier with Stjarnan.
The 31-year-old midfielder fractured his small toe in an accident involving a wardrobe door at his home and Wednesday night's visit of the Icelandic side has come too soon for him.
Commons is back in training, but he has not played in any of the Parkhead side's three pre-season friendlies at St Mirren Park.
