RYAN ESSON: Was left stranded when Peter Grant headed Falkirk on to level terms but by and large found himself essentially coping with long-range efforts for the bulk of the game.

6

GRAEME SHINNIE: Playing his final game for the club before going to Aberdeen next season, the right-back got forward throughout the game and provided some decent deliveries into the box. 7

DANIEL DEVINE: Culpable when Falkirk headed in their leveller and a few shaky moments in the second half when Falkirk put Inverness under considerable pressure. 6

JOSH MEEKINGS: Unlike his last visit to Hampden, he managed to stick to the 'feet only' rule without too much bother. Some desperate defending late on as Falkirk threw everything at Inverness in search of a late equaliser. 6

CARL TREMARCO: Will be remembered for all the wrong reasons. Dithered on the ball and lost possession to Blair Alston but tried to recover with a raking sliding tackle on the Falkirk player. Referee Willie Collum dismissed him but decision seemed somewhat harsh. 5

RYAN CHRISTIE: The poster boy for Inverness this season for the manner of his performances, but made no lasting impression on the final. Was replaced with just under 20 minutes of the game remaining. 6

ROSS DRAPER: Will feel fortunate to have gotten away with a handball on the end edge of his own box as Falkirk put Inverness under pressure. Got away with it and put in a decent shift. 7

GREG TANSEY: A nervous start for him but went on to work his socks off in the middle of the park. Covered plenty of grass as he tracked back and pushed forward to offer support. 7

AARON DORAN: Made a mess of one chance after being set up Ofere and before that had one snapshot in the opening period saved. Replaced as the game entered the latter stages. 6

EDWARD OFERE: Industrious and powerful, the Nigerian worked his socks off as he tried to link the forward play. As well as trying to keep the ball moving forward he did not shirk his defensive responsibilities as he got back to help out on a couple of occasions. 7

MARLEY WATKINS: Missed connecting with Graeme Shinnie's through ball to back post in the opening minutes. But took his chance just seven minutes before the break to put his side 1-0 up with his first goal in 3 months. It was his initial shot from which sub Vincent netted the winner. 8
