ROBERT Love (Letters, February 23) claims dancers, singers and actors are too busy to be drama queens? Yeah, sure – as we've noticed from their over-the-top behaviour at every awards ceremony since the dawn of time, never mind their inevitable background sob stories about their "art" being a triumph over adversity ("I was always last to be picked in games", "I was always given the green Spangles", and so on) so hideously illustrated on every season of Britain's Got Talent, X-Factor and the like. It's no surprise that the insidious modern disease of snowflake-ism finds its origins within the performing arts.

The only people more divorced from reality than "luvvies" are politicians – come to that they also seem to spend more time "resting" than working.
