Police Scotland have confirmed that that the person who died in the one vehicle road traffic collision on the Isle of Lewis yesterday was 42-year-old Angus Chisholm.
Mr Chisholm, who was from the Carloway area on the island, was riding a motorcycle at the time of the incident.
The collision occurred shortly before 1.30pm on Saturday 6 June 2015, on the A858 Stornoway to Barvas Road near to the Brue Junction.
A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal, as is usual procedure in fatal road traffic collisions.
