A PEDESTRIAN has died after she was hit by a bus in a car park.
The 50-year-old woman was struck in Trossachs Woollen Mill car park in Kilmahog, near Callander, at around 6.40pm on Saturday.
The woman was airlifted to the Southern General Hospital in Glasgow but died later from her injuries.
Police Scotland have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward as soon as possible.
Sergeant Alistair MacLean said: "This has been a terrible incident which has resulted in the death of a pedestrian.
"I would urge any person who may have witnessed the collision and who has not yet been spoken to by the police to contact us without delay."
It was one of several serious collisions which happened over the Easter weekend.
A motorcyclist was badly injured following a collision with at around 5.20pm on Saturday on Bathgate Road, Blackburn, West Lothian. The 24-year-old man is being treated in hospital. The road was closed for five hours for an investigation to be carried out.
Meanwhile, an elderly driver was taken to hospital after his car overturned and landed in the front garden of a house in Aberdeen. Westburn Drive in Aberdeen was closed temporarily following the crash at around 11am yesterday.
