Diane McInally
The 23-year-old was found battered to death in Pollok Park, Glasgow.
She was said to be so disfigured she could be identified only by her fingerprints.
Gary Moore was arrested but the charges were later dropped.
1993
Karen McGregor
The 26-year-old mother-of-two was beaten and throttled.
Her body was found in bushes near the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre.
Her husband Charlie was tried for the killing but the jury returned a not proven verdict.
1995
Marjorie Roberts
Mother-of -three Marjorie was found dead in the River Clyde, near Jamaica Bridge, in August 1995.
Police said it was unclear what had happened to her and could not prove whether she had fallen into the water or was pushed.
Footage from CCTV cameras in Glasgow city centre showed her with a man in Broomielaw hours before her body was found.
1995
Leona McGovern
She was throttled and stabbed more than a dozen times in June 1995.
The 25-year-old's body was found around 200 yards from Glasgow's red light district, near Anderston.
George Walker was cleared of her murder after his defence team put forward the identity of another man who they said killed her.
However, detectives said that the other man had been questioned and eliminated from the investigation.
1996
Jacqueline Gallagher
The 26-year-old's body was found on a grassy verge near a bus stop in Bowling, West Dunbartonshire.
She was last seen alive in the early hours on June 24, 1996 in Glasgow city centre.
She had been strangled and battered repeatedly.
Her 118 injuries included several fractures and smashed cheekbones.
Her body, which was hidden in shrubbery and wrapped in an unusual homemade curtain, was found the next day.
One of her client's, George Johnstone, from Erskine, was tried and cleared of the murder eight years later.
1997
Tracey Wylde
The 21-year-old was found dead in her Barmulloch flat in November 1997.
A 37-year-old man was arrested in India in January 2015.
1998
Margo Lafferty
The 27-year-old heroin addict and dealer was found dead in West Regent Lane, Glasgow, close to the city's red light district on February 28, 1998.
She was murdered after being picked up by a client.
In 2001, Brian Donnelly was jailed for life for her killing.
2005
Emma Caldwell
The 27-year-old was last seen in Glasgow city centre on April 4 2005.
Her body was found five weeks later at a remote spot near Biggar.
After several repeated, high-profile appeals for witnesses and information, four men were arrested.
However, the case against them collapsed.
