ACCOUNTANCY giant EY has appointed seven partners and three associate partners to its Scottish practice.

The moves mark the single largest investment in new partners in its Scottish business to date, lifting the total 32 across its four offices north of the Border.

The firm said the growth reflects the strength of its brand and commitment to strategic investment in Scotland as the economy continues to improve.

Mark Harvey, partner and market leader of EY Scotland, said: "This year's new partner appointments reflect our high performing culture and our ability to respond to our clients' needs. Our capacity to make such a significant investment into our business is a result of recent market success, and reflects our belief that we can continue to build the most dynamic and client focused professional services firm in Scotland."
