They are the New Wave of Scotland’s film and TV actors.
We’ve put together a list of 50 young stars who’ve already taken their first steps in the profession and are aiming for the heights. They’re all under 30, were born or live in Scotland, and have at least one significant role to their credit already.

- Credits: Most famous as Robb Stark in Games of Thrones. He has also appeared in Birdsong, Sirens, Worried About the Boy and Hope Springs.
- Did you know: Richard, who is set to start filming in Long Nights Short Mornings and A Promise in 2013, is dating new Doctor Who assistant Jenna Louise Coleman.
- Name: Marlene Madenge
- Age: 20
- From: Glasgow
- Credits: Most famous as Lula Tsibi in Waterloo Road.
- Did you know: Marlene can speak French and Swahili.
- Name: Amy Manson
- Age: 27
- From: Aberdeenshire
- Credits: Most famous as Leah in Misfits and Daisy in Being Human. She has also appeared in Desperate Romantics, Outcasts and Casualty.
- Did you know: Amy recently finished filming Harrigan, with Stephen Tompkinson, and Not Another Happy Ending, with Karen Gillan, Freya Mavor and Iain De Caestecker.
- Name: Freya Mavor
- Age: 19
- From: Edinburgh
- Credits: Most famous as Mini McGuiness in Skins.
- Did you know: Freya’s father, James, is an award-winning playwright and her grandfather, Ronald Bingo Mavor, was a theatre critic and a former director of the Scottish Arts Council.
- Name: Ashley Mulheron
- Age: 26
- From: . Glasgow. Trained at the Royal Scottish Academy Of Music And Drama.
- Credits: Most famous as Roxy in the film The Bang Bang Club. She has also appeared in Kidnap and Ransom, The Task, Primeval and Lesbian Vampire Killers.
- Did you know: Ashley is the younger sister of actress Tiffany Mulheron.
- Name: Tiffany Mulheron
- Age: 27
- From: Glasgow
- Credits: Most famous as Natalie Osbourne in Hollyoaks. She has also appeared in RocknRolla, Dark Journey, Pair of Kings and, with her sister Ashley, in the film Lesbian Vampire Killers.
- Did you know: Tiffany recently completed work on two films, K-11 and Liars All.
